Fashion Friday: 4th of July Tiki!

I hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! This Friday's outfit is my non traditional 4th attire. I kept with the red, white, and blue theme on a background of pink. I just wanted something a little different and a little tiki. The tropical pink fabric is from the current Gertie fabric collection available at Jo-Ann Fabrics while the interior of the bolero is a contrasting red cotton by Waverly. Additionally, the bolero and sarong (sewn by James!) is the Butterick/Gertie pattern 6354 or BP289. Top is Ann Taylor (a goodwill find!) and the rhinestone floral sandals are available at Kohl's.

Inside the bolero - contrasting red cotton.

Cute ties for the skirt!
This is the third time I've worn this set, though each time so far, is with a different shirt to create a new outfit. This was the most low key - I didn't accessorize or do much with my hair. It was really humid on the 4th and not much point in styling for it to go flat. I did manage for a bit to have a hair curl with minimal effort and a few bobby pins - enough for going out!

What are some ways you might style this outfit? Let me know in the comments, please!
