Wedding Wednesday #18: Custom Invitations & Envelopes

Source: The Graphics Fairy

Downright ecstatic - I received the finished wedding invitations and RSVP cards, courtesy of the best man, over the weekend. The next *big* decision is finding envelopes. Then addressing and mailing. If you've been waiting for an invitation - it will be on its way soon! This was a very successful weekend - not only did I get my lovely invitations (design based off of vintage state postcards) but the groom and his groomsman got their suits!

Initially, I wasn't planning on having invitations for such an informal event. Most people have been invited by word of mouth with additional guests invited to the bbq itself. However, the best man offered and since graphic design is his profession - it seemed silly to do otherwise. I'm very pleased with the end result. I got exactly what I wanted in design and, of course, had it custom made - as always.

I really have to get down to business on finding envelopes. It isn't hard. I just want blue envelopes to go with the wedding colors and also the invitations. Why is something so simple often the most difficult? I've searched a few places:
Yeah, you read that last one correctly - Staples. I was really hoping for something simple. I want to have these mailed out by the end of the month. I guess I'll check my old reliable - Etsy - bound to be envelopes I like somewhere on the site. Have a favorite store for envelopes or recommendations? Post below please!
